Installation Advice for Manual Gearbox

To prevent problems, please pay attention to the following points:

1. Before you start the installation

• check if the delivered gearbox is the correct type.
• inspect the delivered gearbox for any (transport) damage.
• check all oil seals for leaks. Replace if in doubt.

2. Additional points of attention:

• Oil plugs: Fit filler, level, and drain plugs with new sealing rings.
• Oil filling: Always follow the dealer's specifications for viscosity, fill quantities, and filling procedures. Note: Some gearboxes have multiple oil systems, ensure all systems are filled correctly.
• Inspection: After the test drive, check the oil level again and inspect for any leaks.
• Follow (dis)assembly instructions according to factory data (torque specifications, etc.)

3. Other:

Oil seals and any supplied pressure bearings are not covered by the warranty.

Return the old gearbox to Peter van de Laar Schadeauto’s and parts (unless otherwise agreed).
