A stabilizer bar is a solid rod made of the same material as the springs, used in cars to limit body roll during cornering while maintaining spring action. The bar connects the lower end of the suspension on the same axle.

By linking the ends of both springs, it prevents one spring from compressing fully while the other remains uncompressed. This reduces the difference in compression, especially noticeable in corners where the car leans less towards the outside of the turn.
